The Parisian opening was made possible with the support of LVMH, now the owner of La
Samaritaine, which invested approximately 750 million euros to revive the famous
department store.

The shop draws inspiration from the renowned Italian pastry shop-café on Via Montenapoleone in Milan.
Antonio Cova founded it in 1817 and originally opened it as “Caffe del Giardino” next to the Teatro alla Scala.

THE WORKS
After 30 months of restoration, the complex located between the Seine and Rue de Rivoli now houses various businesses. These include Pasticceria Cova di Montenapoleone, which incorporates innovative elements and materials to give the space a contemporary design.

The journey began in 1993 in Asia, with the first store opening in Hong Kong, followed by additional locations in Shanghai and Japan. They later expanded to Europe with a store in Monte Carlo.
Currently, there are approximately 30 Cova stores worldwide.
